Tim Kirkland

Coach Tim Kirkland brings nearly 30 years of soccer experience to Fonder FC, with a background built on competitive play, leadership, and player development.

Specializing in goalkeeping and defensive play, Tim earned Conference Goalkeeper of the Year honors during his high school career and has competed across multiple formats of the game, including traditional 11v11, 7v7, 5v5, and indoor soccer.

In addition to his playing career, Tim has spent years mentoring and developing young athletes through team coaching and summer training camps. His coaching experience includes working with players ages 12–15, helping them build confidence, improve technical skills, and develop a stronger understanding of the game.

Tim successfully coached a first-time goalkeeper and soccer player to Conference Goalkeeper of the Year recognition — a reflection of both his ability to teach the game and connect with players on an individual level.

His passion for developing complete players both on and off the field makes him an important part of the Fonder FC coaching staff.
