Coach Jeremy Fonda has been involved in soccer for more than 45 years, beginning his playing career at the age of five. Throughout grade school he played both school and travel club teams. He played at a prominent high school in Rochester, NY, during which he served as captain his senior year. He also made an all-NYS team which had an opportunity to compete in two international tournaments in Europe. After high school, he continued his playing career at two NCAA Division III colleges where he also served as captain his senior year and earned his nickname, Fonder. After college he has remained active in the game socially for many years.
Coach Fonda began coaching as a junior in high school while working youth summer camps and has continued coaching ever since. He earned his U.S. Soccer Grassroots Coaching License and is currently continuing his coaching education toward his U.S. Soccer D License. He has also recently completed all coaching training through the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
As founder of Fonder Futbal Club, Coach Fonda is committed to developing disciplined, confident players and helping serious athletes grow into elite, college-recruitable prospects.
Coach Eric Mao brings a strong background in playing, coaching, and refereeing, along with a genuine passion for helping young players develop their skills and love for the game. Coach Mao has long been a positive presence on the sidelines, consistently supporting players with enthusiasm and encouragement.
He is currently attending Heritage High School and was a former NCFC Classic player. He also serves as an Assistant Coach for NCFC 2015 Classic North and works as a referee for both indoor and outdoor matches. His experience across multiple roles in the game gives him a well-rounded understanding of soccer and player development.
Coach Mao made his coaching debut with Fonder Futbal Club leading the Warriors White Rising team at the Chris Martin 4v4 Tournament in January 2026 where he has the distinct honor of beating the Gold Elite team during match play. He brings energy, leadership, and a commitment to the character and sportsmanship that define the Warrior standard.
