Cary Cup 2026: Lessons, Growth, and a Sharp New Look

The Cary Cup didn't go the way we hoped on the scoreboard this weekend.
In fact, if we're being honest, we took our lumps.
But tournaments like this have a way of teaching lessons that practices can't. We faced strong competition, saw the speed and physicality required at the next level, and got a clear picture of where we are—and where we want to go.
Saturday humbled us. By the third game, the frustration of a difficult tournament had started to take its toll. But Sunday showed who this group can be. The boys bounced back, competed with purpose, and fought all the way to a dramatic TST-style 2v2 finish. We didn't get the result, but we showed resilience, and that's something we can build on moving forward.
This weekend also marked the debut of our brand-new FFC Warriors kits, and the boys looked fantastic. Seeing our players take the field wearing the crest for the first time was a special moment for our club. The uniforms represent more than a team—they represent the culture we're building and the standards we're striving toward.
Every club has weekends where things click, and every club has weekends that expose areas for growth. This was one of those growth weekends.
We're leaving Cary with:
Valuable game experience
A better understanding of our strengths and weaknesses
Increased motivation to improve
Memories from the first tournament in our new kits
Most importantly, we're leaving with the same mission we've had from day one: Play Together. Grow Together.
